“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”

-Andy Warhol

Born and raised in Denton, TX. With over 10 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with the idea of capturing faces.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been tuned in to others’ expressions and body language. This is probably what left me with such high anxiety, but it also gave me a lens into not only others’ hurdles and struggles, but their growth.

In a world where each of us are in different places in life and growing every day, I find it most important that we remember where we’ve been and what we felt. When I look at old photos, I always think about what the subject was thinking or going through during that time of their life. What brought that kind of face to my camera lens that day? The idea that years down the line someone may look at a portrait of themselves that I took and think “look how far I’ve come” or “geez, that was a such a great time in my life” makes every day I pick up my camera worth it.
